Dr Peggy Stock received her diploma in Biology and her PhD from the Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany. She has over 10 years experience in research at the University of Halle, Germany and Pittsburgh, USA. Currently, she works in the group of Prof. Christ at the University of Halle in the field of molecular hepatology.  Her special areas of expertise are in hepatocyte isolation, culturing and transplantation. Her published work include genotoxicological studies and molecular analysis of different liver associated questions. She is currently working on a research project about the development of bioreactors for chemical testing.
