Mr. Tero Silvola  (MSEcon) has over 10 years of experience in software and telecommunication business. Silvola´s career expertise is in sales, marketing and business development in software of various fields.  He is currently running a company that is a market leader in North Europe within Virtual Patient Informatics. Mawell is a fast growing and leading enterprise in integrating healthcare information both from clinical and from patient´s perspective. Mawell solutions are used in every country within North Europe (Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway) and several sites in Baltic countries and Central Europe. Mawell has a research site in the city of Oulu (Finland) and in the city Stockholm (Sweden). Mawell has the ambition to grow further and create international healthcare network by providing innovative and easy to use solutions. At the moment the company employs around 200 specialists in healthcare engineering, sales and customer service.

Prior to Mawell Mr. Silvola holds several positions in Nokia. Within Nokia he worked both in factory operations and sales in different countries. In his last position Silvola was a Business Area Director in radio access solutions, South-Europe. During this employment he was located in Milano Italy.

Mr. Silvola contributes to the national healthcare development in different board positions. Silvola is a board member in Oulu Wellness Institute, which is the most important non profit organisation in Northern Finland doing research and business development within healthcare technology environment.
