Tapio Jokinen

Dr Tapio Jokinen received his M.D. from Helsinki University Faculty of Medicine, and specialised in clinical neurophysiology at Helsinki University Central Hospital in Finland. He has worked as a consultant in Helsinki University Hospital and the Finnish Central Military Hospital. He has publications in the fields of medical computer applications, vigilance research and quantitative EEG

Dr. Jokinen has over 20 years of experience in healthcare IT. He is the founder and CEO of Medixine Oy, a company providing software and e-services to healthcare providers in 16 countries. Since 2000 he has concentrated his efforts to Medixine and is currently working with a comprehensive communication solution for healthcare providers including Personal Health Records (PHR), disease management and mobility.
